Once you arrive, we’ll assess your child’s injury in a calm, supportive way. Whether it’s a knocked-out tooth, chipped enamel, or an abscess, we’ll gather all the information we need to make a plan using digital X-rays and gentle visual exams.

Stay calm. If it’s a permanent tooth, gently rinse it with water (don’t scrub) and try to place it back in the socket, or store it in milk. Call us right away so we can see you the same day. If it’s a baby tooth, do not try to reinsert it. Just call our office and we’ll guide you from there.

Common emergencies include knocked-out teeth, cracked or chipped teeth, abscesses or facial swelling, oral trauma from a fall or injury, and severe or unexplained pain. If you're unsure whether something is urgent, call us and we’re happy to advise.

Yes. We offer a range of comfort-first approaches and only use sedation when needed. If your child is calm and cooperative, we may not need sedation at all. If anxiety or pain are present, we’ll walk you through safe and gentle options, including nitrous oxide or general anesthesia if necessary.
