SCHEDULING
Our office strives to accommodate your personal schedule. We suggest seeing your preschool-age child in the morning or after their afternoon nap. A well-rested child can translate into a happier visit!
Children requiring dental treatment are typically seen in the morning.
After age 13, children have all permanent teeth. We maintain patients of record until 18+ years old, as long as their dental needs remain within the scope of a pediatric dentist. If your child is 13+ years old when you establish as a new patient, we will ensure that we are the correct provider for your child! On rare occasion we need to refer to general dentist or other specialist due to the amount of calculus buildup or treatment required.
Ideally, minimal school is missed due to dental appointments. The best way to miss minimal school is to maintain optimal oral health through 6-month preventative appointments. All dental cleaning and treatment appointments are an excused absence, and we will provide a written school excuse.
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient and we do not overbook our schedule, we ask that you please notify our office 24 business hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Giving us 24-hour notice at minimum will avoid a broken appointment fee and will allow another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things happen, but we ask that you respect our time.
